Jeri Hubbard, started her career designing patterns for Butterick. Educated at The Traphagen School of Fashion Design in New York, lived and studied in Paris, France at The American Academy, her 1970’s work at the Paris Fashion House on the collections of Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, and Kenzo Takada influenced her fine art doll creations; which can be seen in Art Doll Quarterly and Contemporary Doll Collector.
From Senegal to California, and Chicago to Virginia- Jeri Hubbard has lived three quarters of a century elevating materials such as fiber, felt, fabric, and found objects into sculptural objects.
